Jesus came announcing the Kingdom of Heaven. He gave many parables to illustrate its properties. Attaining entrance into this Kingdom should be the goal of every believer.
In ancient times, trumpets were used to communicate with with large groups of people. They were powerful and thunderous and used to herald great events. Some day in the future, a trumpet will sound and signal the onset of the Hope of our Salvation.
