Much of what we consider common sense can be attributed to the values we glean from our present culture. But values such as these will change with the times to the extent that one generation can be at odds with the next. Is there a transcendent truth that endures despite the moral flux of humanity? And if there is, how do we tap into it?
One of the first and most often repeated commands God gave to His people was to be fruitful and multiply. This was more than the simple instruction to populate the earth, it was a mindset meant to permeate every aspect of our lives. And if followed, it will lead a people to the peace and prosperity they desire.
Many believers have had what is referred to as a “religious experience”. It’s that moment when they finally respond to the call to a higher purpose. That purpose doesn’t make sense to the rest of the world, or even to their previous self. But it will drive them to a new life…if they have the commitment to follow through.
