The Sabbath is an OLD doctrine, as old as man himself. It has been revealed as a law, as a covenant and as a sign to identify true believers. To fully observe the Sabbath, requires faith, trust and commitment. It was designed for us, but adherence to it will cause us to endure many trials. There are few doctrines within the Christian faith that has caused so many debates as the “Day of Rest”.
We know that our calling will lead us to make some tough choices in life. We know that this world will test our resolve to remain faithful to that calling. But we also know that we’re told to take the time to appreciate the good things we have and to rejoice over and enjoy the blessings God has given us.
