Things are looking bad for our society. The Bible leaves hints of another time when it was even worse. Man has a nature that can lead to self-destruction and an adversary that encourages him down that path. But there is a way to avoid that destiny.
Some parts of our lives are more important than others. Our relationships, possessions, even our memories get ranked by how valuable they are to us. Much of our life is commonplace and easily replaced. But some things are special, the things we revere and cherish. The factor that distinguishes one person from another is what exactly we consider sacred…and what we do not.
